Description of a typical "BJ" birthday show

BJ the Clown arrives with helium balloons for the birthday person. There is some meet & greet time (with nose honking and handshakes) so that everyone feels OK about a clown being there. 

There is no "set-up" time needed, BJ's big blue trunk is the stage and the kids sit on the carpet or on a parachute on the grass.   With the children's help,  BJ  performs a 30 minute comedy show with magic, juggling, puppets, circus tricks, music and more. The kids get to participate and, of course, the birthday person gets to be the main assistant if he or she is feeling outgoing enough.

After the show there is time for games.  If we are outdoors, we usually play parachute games with a beautiful 24 foot rainbow-colored parachute.  Indoors, we usually play a circus game where we balance long balloons on our hands and noses.

After the games, the birthday person gets to be the star again as BJ makes an incredible balloon crown for him or her and usually everyone else gets a smaller balloon creation to wear or take home.
At the end of BJ's time at the party, the birthday person is presented with the bouquet of helium balloons and we usually do a musical parade to the birthday cake with drums and tambourines for all the children to play.

Rates

BJ's typical birthday show runs one hour and costs $95 on weekdays and $120 on weekends and evenings. 

For parties for very small children, parties at restaurants, & etc., BJ also offers a 45 minute birthday show that costs $85 on weekdays and $95 on weekends. 

If you live very far outside the Metro area, a travel fee may be added (usually no more than $20).

Extra time or special requests are considered on an individual basis, call for a quote.
